One of the residents said: “I’m pretty sure I saw it the other night, something big and black shot across my garden - I thought it was a binbag - but the next day I noticed a plant pot was knocked over.” People living home in Canterbury reported that they spotted a black Panther prowling in their garden. ![]() The huge cat quickly rushed back into the bushes and wasn’t to be seen again. It was reported that it may have been a lynx. a resident said that the size of the animal took their breath away, and she could not believe what they were seeing. Hampton, Herne BayĪ massive ‘wild’ cat was spotted allegedly lurking around a children’s play park in Hampton near Herne Bay. An enquiry was made to Howletts Zoo but they rounded up all of the big bats and none were missing. CanterburyĪ ‘possible large cat’ was spotted in Blean Forest. The cat was some distance away, but the witness noted that a domestic cat would have been hard to see if it were far away. ![]() There was a report about a potential sighting of the nicknamed ‘Beast of Bluewater.’ This enormous black cat was observed on a slope at Swanscombe at 8.30am. It crossed the road ahead so smoothly, low to the ground, long tail - definitely a big cat.” Swanscombe They stated: "I was visiting a friend and arrived at their house rather shaken after seeing a panther. A motorist saw a big black leopard cross the road at dusk, near Hartfield Road. ![]()
